Meeting Rooms
The construction of the headquarters of the West TN Research & Education Center was completed in 1989. A total of 45,000 square feet houses 74 offices, four conference rooms, four laboratories and a demonstration kitchen. All rooms open onto the gallery that has slate floors.
The conference rooms are utilized primarily for bonafide UT events. During times when the rooms are not being utilized for UT functions, the University is pleased to schedule educational meetings for agricultural commodity groups and federal, state, local government agencies and private groups doing training in four of these rooms. Rooms may be reserved up to 60 days in advance by calling WTREC at 731-424-1643.
WTREC Conference Room Policy
- Meeting Room furniture (tables and chairs) are arranged and setup by the user.
- All cleanup of rooms, tables and chairs are the responsibility of the user. An additional fee will be charged for Meeting Rooms that are not left clean.
- WTREC building is closed on weekends. Meetings may be held on Saturdays for an additional charge.

Room A
This conference room will seat 250 with tables and chairs. It features vinyl flooring, a plus, since food and drink are allowed in this area. A large and small built-in screen, overhead projector, podium with microphone and audio system are included in this room. WTREC does not provide LCD projectors, extension cords, or other audio equipment. A TV/VCR/DVD will provided at no additional charge if reserved in advance.
Room B
This conference room will seat 65 with tables and chairs. It features vinyl flooring, a plus, since food and drink are allowed in this area. A built-in screen, overhead projector, podium with microphone and audio system are included in this room. WTREC does not provide LCD projectors, extension cords, or other audio equipment. A TV/VCR/DVD will provided at no additional charge if reserved in advance.
Room 150 (Seminar Room)
This conference room will seat 65. No food or drink are allowed in this room. There is a small foyer just outside this room where drinks and light snacks may be served continental style. A built-in screen and podium are included in this room. A sound system is not included in this room due to the ampitheather style that allows for excellent acoustics. WTREC does not provide LCD projectors, extension cords, or other audio equipment. A TV/VCR/DVD will provided at no additional charge if reserved in advance.
Room 153 (Small Conference Room)
This conference room will seat 16. No food or drink are allowed in this room. There is a small foyer just outside this room where drinks and light snacks may be served continental style. A built-in screen and podium are included in this room. A sound system is not included in this room due to it's small size. WTREC does not provide LCD projectors, extension cords, or other audio equipment. A TV/VCR/DVD will provided at no additional charge if reserved in advance.
